If you choose to contact us using this facility, then please keep your phone to hand so that you can see the response - we may allocate you an urgent appointment on the same day. 

For problems assessed as urgent, we expect patients to prioritise their healthcare needs and make themselves available for an in-person appointment. If you can't attend the appointment offered, although we will try to be flexible, the next appointment may be several days away.

If you disagree with the triage outcome, then you are welcome to send a further e-consult request with additional information.

What is AccurX?

Accurx enables NHS based GP practices to offer online consultations to their patients. This allows patients to submit their symptoms or requests to their own GP electronically, and offers around-the-clock NHS self-help information, signposting to services, and a symptom checker.

  • Reduced phone queue - increases efficiency
  • Accessible to patients - queries have been received for patients between the ages of 1 to 101 and can be submitted by a patient or proxy
  • Patients decide how they want to be contacted - text, phone, or video call
